Vodka Pasta

Delicious recipe for tubular pasta with a creamy tomato, cream, and chopped bacon sauce. Very easy to prepare. You will love this vodka pasta.

  • 2/3 cups vodka
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, optional
  • 1/2 cups onion, chopped
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 pinch peperoncino, crushed red pepper

  • Put the crushed red pepper with the vodka.
  • Boil water with salt and once it reaches a boil, add a package of penne until al dente.
  • In a separate pan, melt the butter, add onion and bacon until it starts to brown. Add the tomato puree, salt, and pepper, and finally the vodka. Boil until the alcohol evaporates and it tastes good.
  • Add the cream to the sauce and check if it needs more salt. Boil for 5 more minutes and serve over the pasta.
