White Pasta with Bacon

Mmmmmm delicious recipe!!!! Perfect for sharing with family and a good glass of red wine!!!! It’s my grandmother's recipe; I hope you like it as much as I do!!!!

  • 500 grams spaghetti
  • 150 grams bacon, smoked
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 200 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 100 milliliters olive oil
  • 2 leaves bay

  • Cut the bacon into medium-sized cubes. Brown it in a skillet and wait until it becomes crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet used for the bacon, add the 2 finely chopped garlic cloves and sauté them. Be careful not to burn them!!!
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add the bacon and garlic to the bowl.
  • Cook the pasta in salted water, with a splash of olive oil and bay leaves for 12 minutes until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta.
  • Mix the pasta with the ingredients from the bowl. Season.
  • Serve with grated parmesan cheese and you're done!!!!!
