Apple, Walnut, and Cherry Salad

A very delicious salad made with apple, walnut, dried cherries, and goat cheese. The dressing is made with honey and shallots.

  • 3 red apples, and/or green cut into slices or squares
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • frisee lettuce, in pieces
  • 1/2 cups dried cherry
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons shallot, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cups goat cheese, crumbled
  • pepper, to taste

  • In a small deep bowl, mix the olive oil, vinegar, shallots, and honey. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large deep bowl, mix the lettuce with the apple. Add the cherries and the vinaigrette and mix well. Serve
