Artichokes with Vinaigrette

Recipe for boiled artichokes with a vinaigrette sauce, try them and enjoy them as much as I do.

  • 6 artichoke, big
  • 2 limes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons Maggi seasoning sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Cut off ugly-looking artichoke leaves, and cut off the stems. Put the sliced lemons, salt and pepper in a large pot and add the artichokes.
  • Add enough water to cover the artichokes by 3-4 centimeters. Boil artichokes and cover the pot for about 25 minutes.
  • Remove the artichokes when they are soft and you can easily stick a fork in the center. Using a large spoon, transfer the artichokes to a plate to cool.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the mustard dressing. Mix the vinegar, olive oil, mustard and maggi juice. Stir in a jar until thickened.
  • Serve each artichoke with the dressing.
