4 red beefsteak tomatoes
2 fresh Mozzarella cheese
6 sprigs basil
3/4 cups olive oil
1/4 cups balsamic vinegar
1/2 cups basil, chopped
table salt
fine ground pepper
1/2 cups basil, sliced (for decoration)

Wash and slice each tomato into 5 slices, each 1/2 centimeter thick.
Also slice the cheese into pieces of the same thickness and set aside.
For the basil vinaigrette: In a bowl, mix the oil with balsamic vinegar and chopped basil, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
To finish the salad: season both sides of the tomato and cheese slices with salt and pepper.
Stack them to form a tower, alternating cheese and tomato.
Pour a little vinaigrette on each layer and top with a few sliced basil leaves on the plate.
Chill before serving.
