Deli Pear Salad

Fresh salad with fruits, pomegranate accents, and walnut with a sweet and sour touch.

  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • 900 grams pear
  • 1 gram pomegranate
  • 150 grams goat cheese
  • 100 grams nut
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • Remove the leaves from the lettuce, cut, wash, disinfect, and drain. It can be hydroponic, escarole, French, Italian, or a mix.
  • Peel the pomegranate, deseed, and reserve the seeds.
  • Cut the cheese into 6 or 4 pieces half a centimeter thick, using a damp knife to prevent it from breaking too much.
  • Wash the soft pears, remove the core with a corer, and slice into 1 cm thick pieces, then cut into cubes. Leave them until the end to avoid oxidation.
  • In a hand processor like Braun, combine the oil, balsamic, and sugar, and process until integrated. It will have a caramel color with a sweet and sour flavor.
