Endive Salad with Gorgonzola Cheese

An elegant and original salad. You can use it for a formal dinner or event.

  • 10 endives
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cups gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 can heart of palm
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • pepper, to taste

  • Clean the endives with cold water and dry well.
  • In a deep bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar with the salt and pepper until the salt is well dissolved.
  • Add the mustard and honey and incorporate well. Finally add the olive oil and you have the vinaigrette for your salad.
  • In a large bowl, mix the endives, the chopped nuts, the cheese and the palm hearts. Add the vinaigrette and mix well.
