Fresh Fruit Salad

An excellent recipe for fresh fruit salad for cold or warm seasons, packed with nutrients, ideal for starting the day.

  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful green grapes
  • 1 handful red grapes
  • 1 pear
  • 1 apple
  • peppermint
  • 2 lime juice
  • 100 grams raw sugar
  • 1 ginger
  • corn syrup, (sweet)

  • For the fruit salad, cut the grapefruit and orange, and place any juice that drips onto the cutting board into a bowl. Squeeze the juice from the citrus into the container. Set aside the orange segments.
  • Add the same amount of sweet corn syrup.
  • Grate the lemon peel, avoiding the white part.
  • Combine the citrus juice. Mix the water and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat until the sugar has dissolved, stirring a couple of times. Add the lemon zest and ginger, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cool and let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Slice the banana into rounds, and cut the grapes into rounds as well.
  • Mix all the fruits together.
