Pasta Salad with Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cheese, and Bacon

A delicious pasta salad with broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, and cheese. Ideal for any meal. It is a dish that can be eaten on its own or accompanied by a piece of meat or chicken.

  • 400 grams broccoli
  • 400 grams cauliflower
  • 200 grams Gouda cheese
  • 110 grams bacon
  • 30 grams butter

  • Cook the bacon in the microwave for 4 minutes and grate the cheese.
  • Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces. In a pot, place the broccoli and fill with water until it covers the food. Then cook it, just wait for the water to boil. Approximately 10 min.
  • In a pot, place the cauliflower and fill it with water until it covers the food. Wait for it to cook until the food is tender. Approximately 15 min.
  • Cook La Moderna® pasta in a pot with 2 liters of water, adding a clove of garlic, a quarter of an onion, a bay leaf, a splash of olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste. The pasta should be al dente. You can cook the pasta as per the instructions on the back.
  • In a preheated skillet, add the butter and wait for it to melt. Add the vegetables and pasta, mix the ingredients evenly, and add the cheese. Wait for it to melt. Finally, add the bacon on top of the pasta salad.
