Peel the cucumber and cut it into slices, also cut the cucumber into rounds or in 6 pieces.
Place the chopped vegetables on the bed of lettuce.
For the dressing: in a deep bowl, pour 3 parts olive oil and 1 or 2 parts balsamic vinegar, add ground pepper, garlic salt, and a little Maggi sauce to taste, then whisk all the ingredients with a fork until combined.
On top of the salad, sprinkle some of the ground herbs and finally the dressing.
