Tabouleh

  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 serrano chiles, deveined and chopped
  • 3 bunches parsley, chopped
  • 1 bunch spearmint, chopped
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, large, peeled, and chopped
  • 1 romaine lettuce, washed and leaves separated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cups wheat, soaked
  • 2 limes, its juice
  • olive oil
  • pepper, to taste

  • Chop the parsley and mint leaves with a knife, not in the food processor.
  • Mix all the vegetables and add the wheat soaked in hot water from the night before and well-drained.
  • Separately, squeeze the garlic and mix it with the lemon juice, oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the vinaigrette to the salad and it's ready to serve.
