Tabouleh

  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and chopped chiquito
  • 2 serrano chiles, deveined and chopped
  • 3 bunches parsley, chopped
  • 1 bunch spearmint, chopped
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, large peeled and chopped
  • 1 romaine lettuce, washed and leaves separated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cups wheat, soaked
  • 2 limes, its juice
  • olive oil
  • pepper, to taste

  • The parsley and mint leaves are chopped with a knife and not in the food processor.
  • All the vegetables are mixed and the wheat soaked in hot water since the day before and drained well is added.
  • Separately squeeze the garlic and mix with the lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper.
  • The vinaigrette is added to the salad and ready to be served.
