Tuna Salad with Orange Dressing

Be sure to try this delicious tuna salad that consists of a rich combination of lettuce, cucumber, coriander and tuna, with a delicious homemade orange dressing. This delicious recipe is super fresh and ideal to share with your family.

  • 400 grams tuna loin
  • 1/2 cups black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cups sesame seeds
  • sesame oil, to seal the tuna
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cups red wine vinegar, for the vinaigrette
  • 1/2 cups Jumex® Unique Fresh Orange Juice, for the vinaigrette
  • 1/2 cups olive oil, for the vinaigrette
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, for the vinaigrette
  • salt, for the vinaigrette
  • pepper, for the vinaigrette
  • 3 cups butterhead lettuce
  • 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cups parsley, in sheets
  • radish, thinly sliced
  • orange, in supreme
  • goat cheese, fallen apart

  • Place the honey on a plate and the two types of sesame in another. Pass the tuna first through the honey and then over the plate with the sesame seeds to cover it completely.
  • In a frying pan, heat the sesame oil and seal the tuna for 3 minutes on each side; reserve on a plate with absorbent paper.
  • For the vinaigrette in a bowl, mix the sugar with the red wine vinegar and the Jumex® Único Fresco orange juice for 5 minutes, until the sugar is perfectly dissolved.
  • Add the olive oil in the form of a thread and do not stop mixing with the balloon whisk. Season with salt and pepper and reserve.
  • To serve, in a deep plate place the French lettuce first, then the cucumber, the sliced tuna, the parsley leaves, the radish, the supreme ones and the goat cheese. Bathe with the orange vinaigrette and enjoy.
