Tuna Salad with Orange Dressing

  • 400 grams tuna loin
  • 1/2 cups black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cups sesame seeds
  • sesame oil, to sear the tuna
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cups red wine vinegar, for the vinaigrette
  • 1/2 cups Jumex® Unique Fresh Orange Juice, for the vinaigrette
  • 1/2 cups olive oil, for the vinaigrette
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, for the vinaigrette
  • salt, for the vinaigrette
  • pepper, for the vinaigrette
  • 3 cups butterhead lettuce
  • 1 cup cucumber, in thin slices
  • 1/2 cups parsley, in leaves
  • radish, in thin slices
  • orange, in supremes
  • goat cheese, crumbled

  • Place the honey on one plate and the two types of sesame seeds on another. First dip the tuna in the honey and then onto the plate with the sesame seeds to coat it completely.
  • In a pan, heat the sesame oil and sear the tuna for 3 minutes on each side; set aside on a plate with paper towels.
  • For the vinaigrette, in a bowl mix the sugar with the red wine vinegar and Jumex® Único Fresco orange juice for 5 minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Drizzle the olive oil while continuously mixing with a whisk. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • To serve, in a deep plate place the French lettuce first, then the cucumber, the sliced tuna, the parsley leaves, the radish, the supremes, and the goat cheese. Drizzle with the orange vinaigrette and enjoy.
