Tuna Salad with Pineapple and Sesame

Fresh salad of natural tuna accompanied by pineapple and avocado with lettuces dressed with yellow lemon vinaigrette, honey, and sesame oil. This recipe is ideal for a complete and totally healthy meal.

  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 1/2 cups sesame oil
  • 1/2 cups Great Value® Pure Canola Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Great Value® honey
  • 1 pinch Great Value® plain salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 2 cups fresh tuna loin, cut into medium cubes
  • 1 cup pineapple, cut into medium cubes
  • 1 avocado, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce, green and purple
  • 1 cup rosetta lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds

  • For the vinaigrette, blend the lemon juice, sesame oil, canola oil, honey, salt, and pepper until you have a homogeneous mixture. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the canned tuna with the pineapple and avocado, and dress with the vinaigrette until they obtain a shiny color.
