Blade Salad

Steamed vegetable salad with a little Caesar or ranch dressing, this is to each person's taste.

  • 1 kilo carrot
  • 1 kilo chayote
  • 1 kilo zucchini , long
  • 1/2 kilos broccoli
  • 15 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 kilos panela cheese
  • 10 slices turkey deli ham
  • croutons , garlic bread
  • Caesar dressing, ranch
  • aromatic herbs
  • coarse salt , to taste

  • In a steamer, add water, herbs, and heat until boiling.
  • Cut the carrot into small rectangles, the chayotes into cubes, and the zucchini into triangles.
  • Add the vegetables to the steamer, add salt to taste, cover the pot for about 15 minutes on low heat, then turn off and let steam for 25 minutes.
  • Wash and disinfect the lettuce leaves, then chop finely.
  • Remove the vegetables from the pot and place them in a salad bowl, stir and let cool.
  • Cut the ham into small squares that can be rolled.
  • For the broccoli, boil water with salt in a pot, and when the water is boiling, add them and remove after 2 minutes.
  • Dice the panela cheese into small cubes.
  • You can buy the bread croutons at any supermarket.
