Lettuce and Radish Salad

Among the properties found in radishes are: a high content of vitamin C, and consequently an antioxidant action beneficial for the formation of teeth, bones, and an increase in red blood cells.

  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar, red
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, grape
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 head lettuce, chopped
  • 8 radishes, quartered
  • 3 tablespoons red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, fresh chopped
  • 1 Avocados from México, boneless, peeled and sliced
  • pepper, to taste

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the vinegar and mustard with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Gradually add the oil while continuing to whisk to emulsify.
  • Mix the lettuce, radishes, onion, and cilantro in a large bowl.
  • Drizzle with the dressing.
  • Mix well and serve alongside the avocado.
