Nicoise Salad with Egg

This nicoise salad is very rich, as it has boiled eggs and that gives it a very special touch. Prepare it and surprise your guests with this delicious salad.

  • 2 red beefsteak tomatoes
  • 4 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 1 orange bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 sprig celery
  • 1/2 cucumbers
  • 4 eggs, cooked
  • leaves basil
  • 2 tablespoons capers

  • Cut the tomatoes into thick slices and cut the lettuce.
  • To devein the peppers, eliminating the seeds and cutting in julienne.
  • Slicing the celery and removing the seeds of the cucumber, cut into half moons.
  • Split the eggs into quarters and add chopped basil in strips.
  • Mix the lettuce with the tomatoes, peppers, celery and cucumber.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Add the basil, the capers and the black olives.
  • Add the olive oil and the boiled eggs.
