Watercress salad

If you like watercress, be sure to try this recipe because you can make a very rich, nutritious watercress salad.

  • 1 beet, big
  • 1 jicama, big
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • 2 mandarin oranges, (the segments)
  • 1 cucumber, in slices
  • 400 grams chicken, cooked and diced
  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons basil, finely chopped
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • salt, and pepper

  • The beets and jicama are peeled and diced.
  • It is mixed with watercress, tangerine, cucumber and chicken.
  • Make a vinaigrette by blending the lemon, vinegar, garlic, basil, salt and pepper.
  • When they are well mixed, pour in the oil little by little, and with this the salad is bathed and served.
  • IT IS DELICIOUS
