Watercress Salad with Vinaigrette

This recipe is a delicious salad that is recommended either as a starter or as a snack between meals. It is also a good option for a light dinner, so you’ll go to bed with a good taste in your mouth and a satisfied stomach.

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • table salt
  • black pepper powder
  • 2 cups watercress, clean
  • 1 cup endive lettuce, clean
  • 1/2 cups plum, in wedges
  • 1/2 cups almonds, sliced

  • Mix all the vinaigrette ingredients (ginger, garlic, onion, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper to taste) perfectly and set aside.
  • In a bowl or salad bowl, serve watercress on one side, escarole lettuce on the other, the plum on top, and the almonds.
  • Just before serving the salad, drizzle with the honey vinaigrette.
  • If desired, serve separately.
