Watermelon and jicama salad

This recipe is a delicious fruit snack that is ideal for breakfast or salad before starting to eat. You can even prepare it as a snack between meals since it is very healthy and ideal to keep you in shape.

  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 tablespoon shallot, chopped
  • 1/4 cups orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 jicama, big
  • 6 slices watermelon, without seeds

  • For the vinaigrette: mix all the ingredients in a bowl (except jicama and watermelon) and reserve.
  • Remove the shell from the watermelon and cut it into triangles or cubes.
  • Peel the jicara and cut it into canes or cubes.
  • place the fruit in a bowl and bathe with the vinaigrette.
