Burnt Sauce with Árbol Chile

This sauce is special for tacos de trompo and pozole; it is made with árbol chiles, tomatillos, garlic, onion, and cilantro. Its flavor is excellent for accompanying all kinds of dishes.

1/2 kilos dried árbol chile
1 kilo tomatillo, from fresadilla
8 cloves garlic
1/2 bunches fresh cilantro
1/4 cups vinegar

In a large skillet, place the dried chiles to roast, stirring constantly until they are completely dark.
In one liter of water, boil the tomatoes with salt to taste until they are soft.
Blend the toasted chiles with the freshly cooked tomatoes, still hot, with a little of the water they were boiled in.
Blend in the garlic and vinegar, without adding too much water if you want the sauce to be thick.
Chop the fresh cilantro and add it to the sauce, and it's ready.....
