Guajillo Sauce

Guajillo sauce is an excellent sauce to accompany fish, seafood, and meats.

  • 5 guajillo chiles
  • 1 árbol chile
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • pepper

  • Start by cleaning and deveining the chiles.
  • In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and brown the chiles, garlic, and onion for 8 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Add the water and spices and allow the chiles to boil for 10 minutes.
  • Blend the sauce and serve.
