5 guajillo chiles

4 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup water

Start by cleaning and deveining the chiles.
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and brown the chiles, garlic, and onion for 8 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Add the water and spices and allow the chiles to boil for 10 minutes.
Blend the sauce and serve.
