Herb Butter

Make your own herb butter and add flavor to your dishes, bread, etc.!

  • 1/2 kilos unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sage, freshly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped

  • In a medium bowl, mix the butter with the finely chopped herbs using a wooden spoon.
  • Place the mixture onto plastic wrap (egapack) and form a roll about 5 cm in diameter.
  • Refrigerate until firm, or freeze for up to 1 month.
  • To serve, remove the plastic wrap (egapack) and slice with a very sharp knife.
