Homemade Mayonnaise

  • Place the egg yolk in a bowl along with the mustard.
  • Start whisking with a whisk or with the help of an electric mixer on medium speed.
  • Gradually add the olive oil in a thin stream while continuing to whisk until the mixture becomes thick.
  • Season with lemon juice and salt.
