You can't miss out on all your pasta with this delicious traditional pomodoro sauce recipe; it's simple, tasty, and full of flavor. The pomodoro sauce is made with different types of tomatoes, basil, and Parmesan cheese. It's finger-licking good!

1 1/2 cups cherry tomato, or Picadilly tomatoes, halved
1 cup tomato, or datterino tomatoes, halved
1 cup red beefsteak tomato, small, or cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup Roma tomato, or canned San Marzano tomatoes, halved
1 1/2 cups onion, in medium pieces
1 sprig celery, in pieces
1/2 cups fresh basil leaf
salt
1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cups basil
1/2 kilos spaghetti
Parmesan cheese, fresh

In a pot, place the tomatoes, onion, celery, basil, and cook for 40 minutes over medium heat. Set aside and let cool.
In a processor, blend the sauce for 5 minutes until you have a smooth consistency.
Return the sauce to a pot and add salt, basil, and olive oil. Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Serve over spaghetti and garnish with Parmesan and fresh basil.
