Lemon Marmalade

  • 5 kilos lime
  • 1 kilo sugar
  • 1 sheath vanilla essence
  • 5 lemons, zest
  • 1 glass water

  • Wash the lemons and limes.
  • Peel the limes and remove the pure pulp, avoiding the white part; it should remain as supremes.
  • Remove the peel from the 5 lemons, making sure not to include the white part, and cut it into strips.
  • Put the lime supremes in a pot over the heat with the strips of lemon peel, vanilla, and sugar.
  • Incorporate well until the mixture is viscous and continue on the heat until it releases its aromas.
  • Let it cool and jar it.
