Jamaica Sauce

  • 1/4 liters red wine
  • 1 cup hibiscus flower concentrate
  • 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 1/4 cups water
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • Pour the wine into a saucepan and let the alcohol evaporate, then add the jamaica concentrate, sugar, corn syrup, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Then dissolve the cornstarch in water and pour it into the sauce, letting it simmer over medium heat for a while until a light syrup forms.
