Add this sweet and sour sauce of jamaica to all your desserts, be it a yogurt jelly or a cheesecake.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1/4 liters Red wine
  • 1 cup hibiscus flower concentrate
  • 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Preparation

Pour the wine into a saucepan and let the alcohol evaporate, then add the Jamaican concentrate, sugar, corn syrup and cook for 10 minutes.
Then dissolve the corn starch in the water and pour into the sauce, leave on medium heat for a while until a light honey forms.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a sauceboat.
