2 onions, chopped
1 clove garlic
2 1/2 cups tomato, peeled and pitted
1/4 tablespoons dried oregano
1/4 tablespoons sugar
1 pinch dried oregano
pepper, to taste

Heat the oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
Add the onions and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on very low heat for 1 hour.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
