Marinara sauce

The seafood sauce is a tomato-based sauce that can be used to accompany pasta, cheese fingers, meat and seafood.

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato, peeled and seedless
  • 1/4 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1/4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • pepper, to taste

  • Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add onions and garlic and brown for 5 minutes.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on very low heat for 1 hour.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
