Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 1/2 cups of tomato peeled and seedless
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of Dried oregano
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 pinch of Dried oregano
  • to taste of black pepper to taste

    Preparation

    Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
    Add onions and garlic and brown for 5 minutes.
    Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on very low heat for 1 hour.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    TIPS

    The sauce can be made in advance and can be frozen for future use.
