Curry Sauce

  • 2 ounces butter
  • 10 milliliters olive oil
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 8.8 ounces FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon tomato purée
  • 1/2 teaspoons ginger powder, and cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon pickles
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 0.6 liquid ounces water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • Heat the oil and butter in a pan.
  • Add the onion and garlic and sauté gently until lightly browned.
  • Mix the curry powder, flour, FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt, and cloves.
  • Add the puree, ginger, cinnamon, pickle, lemon juice, and sugar.
  • Gradually stir in the water, mix, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat, season with salt, and cover the pan.
  • Let simmer slowly for 45 minutes to 1 hour and serve.
