Curry sauce

This delicious sauce can be poured over eggs, combined with fish, chicken, vegetables or even with turkey. Try this curry sauce recipe and combine it with your favorite dish.

  • 2 ounces butter
  • 10 milliliters olive oil
  • 2 onions, Finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 8.8 ounces FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon tomato purée
  • 1/2 teaspoons ginger powder, and cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon pickles
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 0.6 liquid ounces water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • Heat the oil and butter in a pan.
  • Add the onion and garlic and fry gently until golden brown.
  • Mix the curry powder, the flour, the Greek Style Yoghurt FAGE® Total 0% and the cloves.
  • Add the puree, ginger, cinnamon, pickle, lemon juice and sugar.
  • Slowly integrate with the water, stir and let boil.
  • Lower the heat, season with salt and cover the pan.
  • Let cook slowly for 45 minutes to 1 hour and serve.
