5 slices pineapple
100 grams sugar
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup water

In the blender, place the pineapple slices with a little water, making a sort of juice.
In a deep skillet, add 100 g of sugar and let it caramelize.
Then add the pineapple juice to the hot skillet with the sugar.
Wait for it to start thickening and add ketchup, the amount depends on personal taste. Season lightly with salt and pepper, not too much.
Let it reduce and thicken.
