Strawberry sauce

This strawberry sauce serves to accompany cakes, ice cream, yogurt or any dessert you want to add a light and tasty touch.

  • 500 grams strawberries, washed and disinfected
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Cut all the strawberries in half.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the strawberries, sugar and vanilla essence.
  • Cook stirring occasionally until a thick sauce forms, leave on fire for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the fire.
  • Blend one third of the cooked strawberries and mix again with the rest of the strawberries.
  • Keep refrigerated.
