  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Place 200 ml of water with 300 ml of cold milk in a container, add 3 tablespoons of oil and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Mix very well.
  • Place in a small pot over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon, without allowing it to stick. Add chopped garlic, parsley, and basil; if you like, half a teaspoon of nutmeg, a pinch of salt, and pepper if you like, otherwise, it is not necessary.
  • When it starts to thicken, remove from heat for intervals of a few seconds to prevent sticking, always stirring, and return to heat, maintaining a simmer for 1 minute and it is ready to serve.
