Apple Puree for the Turkey

There’s nothing better than enjoying a juicy Christmas turkey alongside homemade apple puree. This apple puree recipe is quick and delicious!

  • 2 kilos Golden Delicious apple, golden
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • Peel and core the apples.
  • Cut all the apples into 8 pieces and place them in a bowl with water and lemon. Strain.
  • Place the apples in a saucepan with 2 cups of water. Cover and let cook for 20 minutes.
  • Uncover, add sugar, and let cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Mash or blend everything (in a food processor or blender) and taste the amount of sugar. Add more if necessary.
