A bowl of beans is an ideal snack for a Mexican party or a day when you don't want to spend much time in the kitchen.

1 onion, medium
1 liter pinto beans
1 1/2 tablespoons lard
salt, necessary amount
oaxaca cheese, to taste
1 bag tortilla chips

Blend the beans and set aside.
Chop the onion very finely and sauté in hot lard; when the onion is translucent, add a little salt and the blended beans.
Place the cheese in a clay bowl, sprinkle a little cheese on top, and bake for 5 minutes until it is melted.
Serve accompanied by tortilla chips.
