You won't be able to resist trying this charro beans with sausage recipe! Charro beans are a classic dish in taco shops and are prepared with various meats such as bacon, chorizo, and sausage. It's a dish to satisfy the most demanding palates.
Heat a pot or saucepan over medium heat, add vegetable oil and bacon, sauté for 3 minutes or until it starts to release fat, then add the chorizo and fry for 4 minutes, finally add the sausages and güero pepper, fry for 3 more minutes. Remove from the pot and retain the fat.
Sauté the onion, jalapeño pepper, and tomato in the same pot for 5 minutes, return the meats to the pot and add the cooked beans. If necessary, add a little water and cook for 10 minutes, until the flavors are integrated. Season with salt and pepper.
