Cheese Strips are a delicious combination and are perfect drenched in a green sauce with a drizzle of European Extra Virgin Olive Oil®. They are easy to prepare and made with ingredients that are easily obtainable.
For the sauce: heat a skillet over medium heat, add European Extra Virgin Olive Oil®, onion, and garlic clove, and sauté for a few minutes. Add the tomatillo, serrano pepper, and sauté for 5 more minutes. Cook until the flavors are fully integrated.
Blend the sauce with vegetable broth, add the coriander seeds and cumin. Return the sauce to the skillet and sauté for a few more minutes. Keep warm.
For the strips: heat a skillet over medium heat, add European Extra Virgin Olive Oil®, onion, and the strips, and sauté for 5 minutes until the ingredients soften.
Serve the strips with the cheese cubes and pour the warm sauce over them so that the cheese melts slightly, and add a drizzle of European Extra Virgin Olive Oil®. Enjoy Life! Serve with tortillas.
