300 grams chickpeas legumes La Asturiana®
750 grams chard
750 grams tomato
1 head garlic
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

The night before, we soak the chickpeas in warm water with a teaspoon of salt.
The next day we rinse them under running water before cooking.
We cook the chickpeas with chopped and cleaned Swiss chard and a little salt in boiling water.
While they are cooking, we prepare a sofrito with the garlic and tomato, to which we add the bread crumbs and paprika.
We blend this refrito with a blender.
Once the chickpeas are tender, we remove some of the cooking broth.
We add the sofrito to the chickpeas with the Swiss chard, adjust the salt, and let it cook for about 15 more minutes.
