Christmas Sweet Potato Puree

  • 10 sweet potatoes
  • 90 grams butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 1 cup marshmallows

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Bake the sweet potatoes for 1 hour.
  • Place the peeled sweet potatoes in a large bowl, add the butter so that it melts with the heat, and mash with a fork to make the puree.
  • Season with spices.
  • Mix the walnut with the marshmallows and honey.
  • Place in a baking dish and spread the walnut mixture over the puree.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
