A good change from rice, couscous is a typical grain of the Mediterranean. In this case served with almonds.

  • 2 cups couscous
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons almonds, sliced toasted
  • 1 tablespoon raisins

  • Cook the couscous as indicated on the package, in salted water in a covered pot.
  • Add the butter, almonds, and raisins. And stir with a fork.
  • Serve hot accompanied by salad.
