Easy Apple Puree

This apple puree is very easy to make and perfect for any holiday dinner. Cooked apples with white wine, sugar, and a delicious touch of cinnamon make it irresistibly tasty. Best of all, it can be prepared in 25 minutes!

2 tablespoons butter
5 apples, peeled and cut into half moons
1/4 cups white wine
1/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and add the apples and wine. Cook until the apples soften.
Add the sugar and cinnamon and cook for 5 more minutes. Let it cool slightly.
Blend until smooth. Serve and garnish with apple slices.
