Esquite Jarocho

  • 1 kilo corn, yellow
  • 1/8 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 liters water
  • 7 sprigs epazote
  • 1 1/2 cubes granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 pinch coarse salt
  • chile

  • mayonnaise
  • cream
  • cheese
Preparation

  • Add corn, water, butter, salt, chicken bouillon cubes, and esquite to a pot.
  • Simmer for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve once the kernels are tender and accompany with mayonnaise, chili, lime, cream, and cheese.
