4 cups vegetable oil, for frying
1 kilo potato, peeled
4 tablespoons flour
salt, to taste

Heat oil in a large skillet to fry the potatoes.
Take the potatoes and cut them into strips to your desired size for French fries.
Dredge the potatoes in flour so they are lightly coated.
Fry batches of potatoes for approximately 5 minutes or until golden brown, and remove them from the oil.
Dry the potatoes with a paper towel to ensure you remove excess oil.
Sprinkle the potatoes with a little salt to taste before serving.
