Garlic Bread with Cheese and Bacon

  • 1 baguette

  • 5 slices Swiss cheese
  • 5 strips turkey bacon

  • Cut the bread into slices about 1.5 centimeters thick without cutting all the way through (the bottom of the bread should remain intact).
  • In a bowl, mix the butter with the onion, mustard, and a little garlic powder. Spread this mixture on each side of the bread slices.
  • Cut each slice of cheese diagonally to make 4 triangles, and place each slice of cheese between each cut of bread.
  • Cut the strips of bacon in half and cover the bread with each piece. Place the bread on aluminum foil inside a baking dish.
  • Bake the bread at 200 °C for 20 to 25 minutes or until the bacon is golden.
