200 grams carrot, washed and peeled
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons piloncillo
1/2 tablespoons salt

In a small pan, combine the piloncillo with 5 tablespoons of hot water until dissolved.
In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Take the carrots and cut them into 3-4 cm cubes.
Add the carrots to the buttered pan and sauté for 1 minute.
Add 3-4 cups of water until it covers the carrots and let it boil; then cover the pan and cook the vegetables for about 4 minutes.
Remove the lid and let it continue boiling until the liquid has turned into a syrup.
Add the piloncillo and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the carrots from the heat and they are ready to be served.
