Natural Potato Puree with Garlic

  • 700 grams potato
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups cow's milk
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

  • Wash the potatoes very well and cook them in salted water. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and cover. Make sure they are tender.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt a tablespoon of butter with the garlic, just sauté it a bit, do not let it brown. Set aside.
  • When the potatoes are ready, peel them and mash them with a fork. Meanwhile, heat the milk and when it reaches a gentle boil, add the potatoes, mix, add the remaining butter and nutmeg.
  • Season with salt and pepper and enjoy as a side dish.
