Onion Rings (easy)

Delicious recipe for onion rings. It's very easy to make and has a delicious flavor. You can serve them with any dish you prefer or as a snack.

  • 2 onions, medium
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • ground white pepper

  • In a bowl, lightly beat the egg, add the oil, milk, flour, salt, and pepper to taste. Beat until a smooth and homogeneous batter forms. Meanwhile, slice the onion into thin rings (about 1/2 cm). Coat each ring in the batter and drain a little before frying in hot oil.
  • Be careful not to fry too many rings at once, and make sure the oil is hot but not excessively so, to give the onion time to cook a little better. Fry until golden, turning with a fork.
  • Remove the fried onion rings and place them on paper towels before serving.
