Portobello Mushrooms Au Gratin

An easy and delicious way to prepare portobello mushrooms. In this case, we will gratin them and fill them with red and yellow bell pepper. You can eat them as a main dish or as a side dish.

  • 8 portobello mushrooms, small
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, in small cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, in small cubes
  • 1/2 white onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cheese, to melt, in small cubes
  • 2 tomatoes, medium in small cubes
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cups Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • In a large skillet, add butter and oil. Sauté the onion, garlic, peppers, and finally the tomato, season with salt and pepper, and let cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the portobello mushrooms with the hollow side facing down and cover for 2 minutes.
  • Flip them over and fill them with the peppers, leaving them in the same skillet.
  • Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce to each and put a little cheese on top of the mushrooms. Cover and let them gratin.
